Geography of the Body - Archive of Survival presenta i lavori recenti dell’artista gazawi Mosaab Abusal, nati dentro l’urgenza e la devastazione della Striscia di Gaza, insieme agli interventi del collettivo Taring Padi, in dialogo con artisti e attivisti internazionali in solidarietà con il popolo palestinese.

Realizzati dopo lo sfollamento forzato e la perdita del suo studio, i disegni di Abusal prendono forma su un taccuino, tra nero e carboncino: segni che evocano cenere, polvere, distruzione. Linee che non illustrano, ma registrano. Tracce che trasformano il trauma in resistenza visiva.

In Geografia del Corpo, il corpo palestinese diventa archivio vivente: non solo carne, ma memoria, prova, territorio. Mentre Gaza viene cancellata, il corpo resta. Testimone ultimo della verità.

Geography of the Body - Archive of Survival features the recent works of the Gazawi artist Mosaab Abusal, born in the urgency and devastation of the Gaza Strip, together with the interventions of the collective Taring Padi, in dialogue with international artists and activists in solidarity with the Palestinian people.

Completed after forced displacement and the loss of his studio, Abusal's drawings take shape on a notebook, between black and charcoal: signs that evoke ash, dust, destruction. Lines that do not illustrate, but record. His traces transform trauma into visual resistance.

In Geography of the Body, the Palestinian body becomes a living archive: not only flesh, but memory, proof, territory. While Gaza is cancelled, the body remains as the ultimate witness of the truth.
