Visto il meteo avverso degli ultimi giorni, il vento fortissimo e l’incertezza delle previsioni del tempo per sabato, il Comitato No Grandi Navi @comitatonograndinavi ha deciso di rimandare l’uscita in Laguna, prevista per il 20 aprile. Presto comunicheremo una nuova data, ma abbiamo l’obbligo di dare priorità all’incolumità di tutti gli attivisti e di tutte le persone che animano le nostre manifestazioni. Del resto, il meteo estremo di questi giorni consiglia prudenza nella navigazione in Laguna, esattamente il contrario del piano prospettato dalle compagnie e dal fronte del porto, tutto votato all’aumento di traffico, all’ingresso di nuovi mastodonti del mare e a nuovi scavi.Che ci tocchi rimandare l’uscita non significa che dobbiamo rinunciare ad una giornata assieme all’insegna della nostra lotta. Anzi, la proposta del Comitato no Grandi Navi è di trovarci tutti assieme a Sale Docks, ai Magazzini del Sale, dalle 16 alle 20 di sabato per un momento di festa e convivialità. Qui, infatti, negli ultimi giorni, un gruppo internazionale di artisti ha “lavorato per noi”. Il progetto veneziano #powerlaguna ha costruito un grande pesce multicolore che guiderà il corteo di barche. Oltre alla Bisigola gigante, il collettivo indonesiano @taring_padi ha fabbricato e dipinto (insieme ad un gruppo di attivisti nostrani) una serie di cartonati dedicata alla nostra lotta.Vi aspettiamo dunque al Sale per un pomeriggio di arte, animazione bimbi, musica e convivialità.Parafrasando Emma Goldman, “se non posso ballare, non è la mia rivoluzione”. After all, the extreme weather of these days advises caution in navigating in the Lagoon, exactly the opposite of the plan envisaged by the companies and the Port’sAuthorities, all devoted to increasing traffic, the entry of new mastodons of the sea and new excavations.
That we have to postpone the exit does not mean we have to give up a day together under the banner of our struggle.
On the contrary, the proposal of the COMITATO NO GRANDI NAVI is to find us all together at Sale Docks, at the Magazzini del Sale, from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday for a time of celebration and conviviality. Here, in fact, an international group of artists has been "working for us" for the past few days. The Venetian project PowerLaguna has built a large multicolored fish that will lead the procession of boats. In addition to the giant “Bisigola”, the Indonesian collective Taring Padi has fabricated and painted (together with a group of homegrown activists) a series of cartoons dedicated to our struggle.
So we look forward to seeing you at SaLE Docks for an afternoon of art, children's entertainment, music and conviviality.
